The new visual identity of tsipouro & ouzo “From our place”

The product line ‘From our place’ of Masoutis is a point of reference for quality and locality. The challenge for our team was clear: to renew the image of traditional tsipouro and ouzo, creating a label that stands out on the shelf, while maintaining the authentic character of the product.

Our strategy

In a market where the traditional is often identified with the ‘old’, we chose to move on a street Minimal aesthetic and dashing typography. Our goal was to address both the traditional consumer and a younger audience looking for premium design even in their everyday products.

The Design Concept

  • Typographic dominance: We designed the verbals with bold, solid characters that form a visual ‘shield’, symbolizing the guarantee of quality.
  • Minimal palette: We used clean lines and a palette reminiscent of the crystal purity of the spirit.
  • Link to experience: The label acts as a ‘canvas’ that highlights the content, leaving the product itself to speak.

The new identity of tsipouro and ouzo ‘from our place’ manages to be modern without losing contact with its roots. With clarity in information and a dynamic presence, the products are reintroduced to the public, strengthening the brand equity of the Masoutis series.
