At Pylarinos Advertising Agency, we believe that the packaging of a product is not just an ‘enclosure’, but the ambassador of its quality. Our recent collaboration with the Kehagia Mushrooms company to redesign labels was a creative challenge: How would we transfer the freshness of products directly to the consumer’s shelf?
The central idea behind the new design was the return to authenticity. We wanted the consumer, holding the packaging in his hands, to feel the purity of the product.
Instead of the trodden path of standard photos, we chose to use detailed botanical illustrations.
Each item on the label serves a specific purpose:
- The texture of the ‘earth’: the use of texture in the background creates a direct connection with the organic element and tradition, differentiating the product from the glossy, industrial packaging of the competition.
- Color coding: The choice of colors was made based on quick identification on the shelf.
- Typography & Transparency: We used robust, clean typography for the ‘Kehagia’ logo, ensuring high brand recall.

The new packaging of Kehagia mushrooms is not just aesthetically perfect, it is a complete communication proposal. We managed to combine the premium feel with organic simplicity, highlighting mushrooms as an essential, quality treasure for every kitchen.
